摘　　要： 本文主要对Routledge公司于2009年出版的The Routledge Handbook of Multimodal Analysis一书进行概述与评介,认为这本书收集了近年来对多模态分析与研究的主要成果。该书以多模态为研究核心,澄清了多模态的基本概念,介绍了该领域的研究方法和跨学科应用,认为多模态研究无论作为理论方法还是研究途径,在媒介交际的过程中对人际关系起着非常重要的作用,因此该书为从事此项研究和学习工作的研究者提供了必要的参考资源。 The article reviews The Routledge Handbook of Multimodal Analysis published by Routledge in 2009,which includes a collection of the main and current research achievements in the field of multimodal analysis,with the themes ranging from the introduction of its fundamental categories and the application of multimodal approach to the specific contexts.It holds the view that the multimodal analysis emerging as either an approach or a theory plays a significant part in identifying interpersonal meanings in media communication.This book is a necessary resource file for those working in the study of this research area.
