摘　　要： 设计地理数据库就是将所要描述空间地理数据进行有效组织和管理。在进行地理数据库设计过程中,对空间数据的有效性的处理成为设计地理数据库的关键一步。规则(rule)是保证数据有效性的有效工具,因此为地理数据库设计数据有效性规则就成为保障地理数据有效性的首选工具。地理数据库的规则具体可分为属性域规则、关系规则和连接规则三大类。该文将重点围绕这三大类规则进行详细论述。 Designing the geodatabase is that organizing and managing effectively the spatial geographic data to be de-scribed.In the process of designing the geodatabase,dealing with the validity of spatial data is the key step.Rule is an effective tool which can assure the data validity,so designing the rules of data validity for geodatabase is the preference tool to ensure the geographic data validity.The rules of geodatabase can be classified into attribute field rules,relation rules,and connection rules.This Paper discusses the three types of rules detailedly.
