摘　　要： 批评话语分析与西方修辞学都强调了语言的政治功能、对道德与正义的追求、语言的建构作用、批评视角。不过,批评话语分析关注的是"语言使用的意识形态功能",强调分析语言可以揭示潜藏在语篇中的意识形态、促进社会公平,因为语言通过认知对听者进行思维建构并参与建构社会现实,其批评视角是一种关注语言与社会互动关系的非本位性批评。 Critical Discourse Analysis( CDA) and Western Rhetoric( WR) share commonalities in such views as follows: Language has political role; language use should not be cut off from the pursuit of moral justice; language is constitutive; language use should be critically scrutinized. Yet CDA advocates that it is language in use,rather than language as an abstract system,that plays the ideological role. Only by analyzing the language in use can one reveal the ideology embedded and help promote social equality since language,by influencing one's cognition and thinking,helps shape his / her understanding of social reality. The critical scrutiny is oriented toward social issues instead of the research in its own field.
