条叶兼用生态桑树新品种冀桑4号的选育
Breeding of a New Ecological Mulberry Variety Jisang 4 for Harvesting both Leaves and Branches

摘  要: 为促进北方地区桑树生态产业的发展,开展条叶兼用生态桑树优良品种的选育。从河北省保存的桑树种质资源中筛选出抗旱耐寒和丰产性能好的育种材料,以桑叶、桑条的产量和品质为目标性状,进行株系选择及抗旱性试验和产量、品质性状鉴定试验,并进一步通过区域试验选育出桑树新品种冀桑4号。该品种具有抗旱、耐寒、耐瘠薄和生长旺盛的特点,在条叶兼用生态桑树的特定收获方式下,产叶量和产条量分别为6.85、13.44 t/hm2,比养蚕专用桑树品种冀桑2号提高4.74%、70.78%;桑叶和桑条的品质优良,100 kg桑叶产茧量和100 kg桑叶茧层量分别比冀桑2号提高5.85%、7.49%,桑条作为造纸原料的综合品质优于红皮花桑和条墩桑1号。该品种已通过河北省林木品种审定,适宜在北纬42°以南、海拔500 m以下的北方干旱山地和沙地用于生态造林或作为粮、油作物的间作树木。 In order to promote the development of mulberry eco-industry in the north of China, the breeding of ecological mulberry varieties for leaf and branch dual-purpose was conducted. The breeding materials with drought resistance, cold tolerance and high yield were selected from mulberry germplasm resources preserved in Hebei Province. Taking yield and quality of both mulberry branch and leaf as the target traits, a new mulberry variety named Jisang 4 was obtained through plant line selection, drought resistance test and identification experiment on yield and quality followed by further regional test. The new variety was tolerant against drought, cold and barren soil and had high growth vigor. With specially designed harvesting pattern for harvesting both leaves and branches of the eco-mulberry variety, the yield of leaves and branches of Jisang 4 was 6.85 and 13.44 t/hm2 respectively, which was 4. 74% and 70. 78% higher than those of mulberry variety Jisang 2, a mulberry variety specially for silkworm rearing. The quality of leaf and branch of Jisang 4 was excellent. Cocoon yield and cocoon shell weight per 100 kg mulberry leaves of Jisang 4 was 5.85% and 7.49% higher than those of Jisang 2 respectively. While being used as raw material for paper making, the comprehensive characters of Jisang 4 branches were better than those of mulberry varieties Hongpihuasang and Tiaodunsang 1. This variety had pas- sed the forest variety evaluation by Hebei Province, being suitable for growing in the dry mountainous regions and sandregions with altitude below 500 m and longitude below 42° in the north of China for ecological forestation or as an intercrop with grain and oil crops.
