摘　　要： 文学翻译中，译者在传递原文意义的同时，要尽可能传达原文的艺术意境。以杨宪益夫妇的译作《边城》为例，探讨译者如何从语言、句式、修辞三方面再现原作的艺术特征和美学效果。 In literary translation, a translator should convey the artistic conception of the original work as well as the meaning of the original. The paper intends to explore how the translator represents the artistic character and aesthetic function of the original in the fields of language, sentence and rhetoric devices by analyzing the English version of ＂The Border Town＂ .
